It’s a new year!!! 2017! A new beginning of some sort. A new year to me means a do over, or a new chance to do what I have failed to do in the year gone by. It is an opportunity to right wrongs and do good. I take a new year not as a simple change in the digits or a calendar but as a chance.
Religon…God…a topic near and dear to many, myself including. However, it is irking to know that there are those who misuse or exploit religion. It is further disturbing to see a large number of individuals who blindly follow these so-called leaders.
She was afraid of what might happen to her given her past. A past that was filled with horror, lies and uncertainty. Though over, it haunted her every breath and her very existence. She was given a chance at life again, a new home and a new name. This life was promising and certain. But it was new. It was different, and it lacked that fear that she grew accustomed to. But while that was the reality of the situation, she could not however bring herself to believe it. Every day and every minute she was always haunted by something that existed only in her mind. It didn’t matter how many years went by, she never really recovered until one day someone told her, “If you keep looking for something in the shadows, you will eventually find it.”
In our weakest moments we often feel, well, to give up. Here are 5 rules of life that we should should be aware of:
The darkest night of the year has come and now gone. It was lit luminously by the deyas in our yards and fireworks in the sky. The presence of the Goddess was invoked and we greeted our family, friends and neighbours with bright smiles, warm hugs and lovely wishes.
A secret to happiness is letting every situation be what it is instead of what you think it should be.
Amidst a jungle of must-dos, to-dos, probably should-dos, we all need to find relief in the want to-dos. These aren’t the things that are related to the busy life or the demanding do or die situations. These are simply the relaxing, peaceful, fresh flow of ease you need to take a breath and find your calm again.
